Easy & quick butter shrimp

I love shrimp and we always have some stocked away in the freezer for quick and easy meals! My favorite shrimp to get is the Argentina wild caught shrimp from Trader Joe’s. It’s seriously so good and isn’t super fishy tasting like some shrimp.

A super easy way to prepare the shrimp is to bake it in the oven so that is what I did here and then we just threw it with some of our favorite gluten free spaghetti noodles and zucchini noodles mixed together!


1 lb of frozen shrimp thawed
4 Tablespoons of butter
5 cloves of fresh garlic
Salt, Pepper, Cayenne
Parsley for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

  2. In a ceramic dish, spread the softened butter around on the bottom

  3. Chop up the garlic cloves into small pieces and sprinkle over the top of the butter

  4. Spread the shrimp out on the butter where they aren’t overlapping

  5. Sprinkle on salt, pepper, and cayenne

  6. Bake in the oven 7 minutes and then flip and cook another 7 minutes

  7. Garnish with parsley and fresh squeezed lemon

And that’s it! Now you can use this to add to you’re favorite pasta dish, tacos, rice bowl, you name it!
